To say I was strongly encouraged to start a blog by a very dear friend of mine would be an understatement (thank you dear friend for the gentle shove, I needed it!). I appreciate that anyone would think that the ramblings of a late 30-something horticulturist/plant nerd/mom/gem hound/second-hand store, garage sale, and estate sale devotee/animal lover/eco-interested person would ever be much worth reading. I hope to write some things of great interest - at least to me - and hopefully to you dear reader. This will be a nice outlet for all the random thoughts and varied interests swimming in my brain - see I'm getting old and must make more room in there for new fun things, stay tuned!
